Lisa and Caryn are best friends, who started our business Sensuous in a small coastal town, Ballito, in South Africa.



Many people are very embarrassed to talk about sex, while others are happy to shout it from the mountain tops. Everywhere we turn, people are talking about it. Yet for so many us, there are few safe places to turn, for frank information from a woman’s viewpoint on this sensitive topic.

If you ever happen to scan the magazine racks, every tabloid and magazine screams a similar message at you. They... yell, “Do it anytime, anywhere and with anyone!”

You know sex orgies are wrong, but what about a wife seducing her husband? Where do you draw the line on sexual acts? What is right? What is wrong? Can one be both Godly and sensuous?

We have Hollywood’s unrealistic portrayal of sex, which couldn’t be further from the truth. She’s never tired. She’s gorgeous. She never has PMS and she wakes up in the morning “perfect” with no bad breath! She’s able to do “IT” anyplace, anytime and many times. Then we have the religious mind set. Sex is only to have children and nothing more. If you enjoy it, then you are “one of THOSE girls!”

If you feel confused and embarrassed when it comes to sex, you are not alone. Most of us have grasped the world’s perspective on what sex is and not what is was invented and intended for.

Sadly we have been influenced in the way we view our sexuality. We don’t see sex as the wonderful gift it was intended to be. We need to allow ourselves permission to revel in the sensuous pleasures of married love.
